Key Reserves

JR Parker Van Dyke

The junior is likely one of the first players off the bench. In 16.5 mpg, Van Dyke averaged 4.6 ppg and shot 35% from deep. With limited guard options, he has a chance to secure more minutes for himself.

FR Brooks King

The Boise, Idaho native averaged 18.3 ppg and shot 43% from distance in his senior year at Centennial High. The 6’3 guard will compete for minutes as a reserve.

FR Donnie Tillman and Chris Seeley

Tillman is a four-star prospect out of Findlay Prep while Seeley was a redshirt last season. Both players have similar games as forwards and will compete to become Collette’s main backup.

SO Jayce Johnson

The former top-50 prospect only played 12 mpg last season, buried in the frontcourt’s depth. He showed flashes at times, including a 14 and 12 double-double against the Oregon Ducks. He has potential and should become the eventual starter for Utah.

FR Christian Popoola

The 6’4″ combo guard will be a fan favorite for the Utes after de-committing from Brigham Young University in the spring. His athleticism and quickness will be an asset for a team who lacks those traits on the perimeter.
