Wisconsin Basketball vs. Baylor: Game preview, TV schedule, prediction
Baylor’s Player to Watch: Manu Lecomte
In terms of offensive options for Baylor, look no further than guard Manu Lecomte. After spending two seasons at Miami (FL) to start his college career, this is Lecomte’s second (and final) year with the Baylor Bears. Last season, he averaged 12.2 points per game, but he is currently over 20 per game in the early season this time around.

Lecomte is one of the best shooters in the nation and has made 162 of his 382 total collegiate attempts from 3-point range. This is good enough for a 42.4% clip and he is off to a scorching 12-for-26 (46.2%) start this season. With his quick trigger and playmaking ability (3.8 assists per game last year), Lecomte is very difficult to cover and it will take an effort by a committee for Wisconsin to slow him down.
In the backcourt for Wisconsin, Lecomte will probably see the likes of D’Mitrik Trice and Brad Davison covering him for the majority of the game. Davison is the better defender of these two, but he is just a freshman and this will be his fourth collegiate game. Lecomte will definitely have the experience advantage in this game and he will be difficult to stop.
Even though Baylor has had five players average in double-figures so far, Lecomte is where the majority of the offense comes from. If Lecomte is limited, Baylor’s offense could really struggle.
