NCAA Basketball: 10 takeaways from Week 3

Every Florida game is must-watch television
I knew the Florida Gators were going to be good heading into the 2017-18 college basketball season, but I expected them to be a top 10 team and that was that.
Instead, the Gators look like a top-five team with their impressive win over Gonzaga and their close loss to the Duke Blue Devils. Florida was in control for most of the game but let Duke catch them twice or we might be heading into the week with the Gators as the No. 2 team behind Kansas.
However, it is quickly getting to a point that every Florida game is must-watch television. Mike White’s team has scored over 100 points four times and is extremely fun to watch. Relentless on defense and free-flowing on offense, I recently saw a Tweet where someone called them “the Golden State Warriors of college basketball.”
Chris Chiozza is barely six-feet tall and rebounding like he’s Dwight Howard, Egor Koulechov thinks he’s Steph Curry, and Jalen Hudson can’t stop scoring. KeVaughn Allen was supposed to be a major part of this team, and he’s the fourth leading scorer.
You never know what you’re going to get with this team, and that makes them something that, if you’re a college basketball fan, you cannot afford to miss.
