Key Players:

Joshua Braun- Grand Canyon

The senior guard is the Lopes’ go-to guy, and, as a deadly three-point shooter, he makes things happen when the ball is in his hands. Braun is a pure scorer and one of the best players in the WAC. When he is one the floor working with Oregon transfer Casey Benson, the Lopes are at their best. If the Lopes hopes to leave Boise with a win, Braun is going to need to have a great game. This game should be high scoring and ripe with offense, so who better to help the Lopes then their best offensive player. Braun is a fun player to watch due to his ability to score from anywhere on the floor, as well as create his own shot. Bronco fans will hope they don’t lose sight of Braun on the floor, because, if they do, it could be a long night for the Broncos.

Chandler Hutchinson- Boise State

Hutchinson is another guard who can score from anywhere on the floor. Hutchinson always seems to score points when you need them the most, and Boise State relies on Hutchinson to do just about everything. While Hutchinson is an elite scorer, he scores his points differently than Braun does. Hutchinson does not shoot as many threes as Braun does, but is hard to keep out of the paint. Hutchinson is a taller guard at 6’7” tall and is a good rebounder. There are not many guys quite like him in college basketball that can lead their team in scoring and rebounding and can bring the ball up the floor for quick offense. Hutchinson is going to need to have a huge game if Boise State wants to win this game.
