The Buckeyes remain unchanged in this week’s rankings but could use another quality win or two to boost their resume. Their good start in conference play has put them in a nice position to put together a nice resume.

A win over North Carolina this coming weekend would look really nice on Selection Sunday. The Buckeyes have one RPI top-50 win and another RPI top-100 win, according to CBS Sports.

In their lone game this week, the Buckeyes pulled off an 80-67 home win over Appalachian State on Saturday. The Buckeyes had four players in double figures in the contest, led by Jae’Sean Tate‘s 19 points.

Tate is second on the team in both scoring (13.3 ppg) and rebounding (5.8 rpg). Keita Bates-Diop (18.2 ppg, 9.3 rpg) continues to have a stellar season for the Buckeyes, leading the team in both categories. C.J. Jackson (13.0 ppg) and Kaleb Wesson (12.5 ppg) also average in double figures this season.

Schedule for this week:

The Citadel (5-6) at Ohio State on Dec. 19

Ohio State vs. North Carolina (10-1) in New Orleans, LA on Dec. 23
