Nebraska remains unchanged in this week’s power rankings, although they could probably be a spot or two ahead. Outside of defeating Minnesota, though, they really don’t have any eye-catching performances (other than narrowly losing to Kansas).

The Huskers are just 2-5 against the RPI top-100. Although it is good that they picked up two wins of that caliber, they still could’ve used another win or two in the non-conference to make their resume more appealing. Their only decently impressive non-conference win came against Boston College.

Last week, the Huskers posted an 85-68 home win over Delaware State behind James Palmer Jr.’s 18 points. They made 13 threes in the game, which was a season high.

Palmer continues to lead the team in scoring at 15.2 points per contest. He has reached double figures in 13 out of Nebraska’s 14 games this season. Juniors Glynn Watson Jr. (12.8 ppg) and Isaac Copeland (12.0 ppg, 6.6 rpg) follow closely behind him. Senior guard Anton Gill, who averaged just 3.8 points per game a season ago, has increased his scoring average to 10.5 points per game this season, good for fourth on the team.

Schedule for this week:

Stetson (7-7) at Nebraska on Dec. 29
