Wisconsin remains at No. 11 in this week’s power rankings despite falling in their only game since last week’s power rankings. The Badgers continue their subpar season, and come in at this spot simply because of their win over Indiana last week.

After defeating Indiana, the Badgers traveled to Rutgers, where they fell to the Scarlet Knights 64-60. Just another brutal offensive performance by both teams really, especially the Badgers. The Badgers received 13 points apiece from Brad Davison and Brevin Pritzl, while Ethan Happ and Nate Reuvers each had 10.

When teams are able to shut own Happ (16.7 ppg, 8.4 rpg), the Badgers have a really tough time getting any sort of offensive output. Davison (11.9 ppg) is the only other guy who averages double figures.

This remains the biggest problem for the Badgers, as they rank last in the conference in scoring offense at 69.8 points per game. They have scored just 63.3 points per game in conference play. They just do not have the same type of offensive players that they have in year’s past. This team has a lot of work to do to get where they want to be.

Schedule for this week:

Wisconsin at Nebraska (11-6, 2-2) on Jan. 9
