Cam Reddish – Small forward/shooting guard

Originally the top prospect of 2018 before Barrett reclassified, Reddish was the can’t-miss guy of the class. He’s a 6’7 guard who has grown in recent years and now has good size at 210 pounds with a seven-foot wingspan.

His reputation is known for great shooting and athleticism, and while he might not have the shooting touch of NBA champion Klay Thompson, he is comparable in other aspects of the game.

This may have been the easiest commitment for Duke in a while, as the Pennsylvania native was a Duke-lean the whole time, and committed to the Blue Devils early in September. There really wasn’t much competition for his services.

Unlike some of the other highly ranked recruits, Reddish plays for a smaller school called Westtown in the Keystone State, where he dominates the competition like no other.

Where he fits on next year’s roster

His natural fit is at the two spot, but he can play the small forward is necessary. Reddish will be a great replacement for Allen and should be an even better defender.
