Big Ten Teams Who Should be In:

No. 9 Seed Michigan Wolverines 19-7 (9-5)

They will probably be owning this slide for the rest of the season. Their RPI is well enough at 37 right now that they will more than likely see a bid into the Tournament. They haven’t quite reached locked status just because of their five-conference losses.

Five aren’t bad, but in a down Big Ten season, it should be less. Especially since they pulled one out against Michigan State earlier this season.

The Wolverines had a weird schedule where they played Northwestern twice in eight days. A clean sweep would’ve given them a better chance at moving up to the lock position. Instead Michigan kept Northwestern around for one more game and Michigan stayed put.

They took care of business against Wisconsin, but that won’t be enough to move them at all. There’s still a chance at splitting with Ohio State which could do the trick.
