1. Home sweet Hinkle

Butler is on a two-game losing streak in front of their home court. This is a rare occurrence and it would be a shock if the Dawgs fell in another home matchup. Hinkle Fieldhouse is a historic college basketball venue and the fans will be reared up and ready to go for this one. Butler fans understand just how big this game is for their team and the building will be filled to the brim.

Typically, Butler plays exceptionally well at home and they are able to feed off of the energy from the crowd. Most notably, nobody relishes a crowd’s attention more than Paul Jorgensen. The junior already brings a high level of energy to the floor and his excitement after each made shot rivals that of the fans in the arena. If the Bulldogs get off to a hot start in this game, it will be very difficult for Providence to make a comeback.

Having the home-court advantage in a game as big as this is a big deal. The Bulldogs are in need of a win and they will be able to thrive knowing that their fans are cheering loudly. In this Saturday afternoon special, Butler will need to avoid coming out flat. As long as the fans are awake in the stands, they will encourage their Bulldogs to start off the game strong and build an early lead.
