No. 16: Allonzo Trier – Junior guard, Arizona

2017-18 stats: 19.6 ppg 3.2 rpg 3.2 apg

Best season performance: 25 points, four rebounds and six assists in the win over Alabama

After missing more than half of last year with a suspension, Trier came out like Gangbusters to score 90 points in the first three games of the this season. Of course that had to dip down, but the junior has been one of the more consistent scorers in all of the Pac-12.

Of course he has another star alongside him to help, but with the Wildcats struggling badly to find any help outside of the top two at the beginning of the campaign, Trier’s early performances were vital in keeping Arizona afloat.

No. 15: Joel Berry – Senior guard, North Carolina

2017-18 stats: 17.5 ppg 3.6 rpg 3.0 apg

Best season performance: 21 points, four rebounds and six assists in the win over Duke

The only Most Valuable Player from the Final Four on the list, Berry has the kind of experience and leadership that just about everyone else in the country just doesn’t have. And it shows in his big games against the best competition the Tar Heels have played.

Whether it was against Duke, Clemson, Ohio State or even just on the road in hostile environments, this champion has been a consistent weapon for Roy Williams. Expect that to continue in postseason play.
