Small Forward
Team A: Mikal Bridges (Villanova) and Keita Bates-Diop (Ohio State)
In just under 3 years, Mikal Bridges has gone from a versatile rotational player as a freshman to a sure-fire lottery pick this June. His offensive progression has made him one of the elite talents in college basketball while is defensive prowesses remain on full display. Bridges is averaging 16.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 1.6 steals, and 1.2 blocks per game. He’s an efficient scorer and a possible National Player of the Year candidate.
One of the most surprising emergences in college basketball this year is Keita Bates-Diop of Ohio State. Playing in a limited role his first three collegiate seasons, Bates-Diop was waiting for his opportunity to become a star. This season he has propelled Ohio State to their best season over the past few, while making himself a likely NBA draft pick in the process.
Team B: Chandler Hutchison (Boise State) and Miles Bridges (Michigan State)
Due to his team and conference he plays in, Hutchison has remained an unknown name despite his impressive talent and production. Hutchison’s play has made him a probable first-round pick as he continues to showcase his talents.
Miles Bridges has suffered through rough stretches this season, as he continues to transition into a perimeter player, but has come alive as of late. His production remains and Michigan State is one of the best teams in the nation. He’s an explosive athlete who affects the game in so many ways for the Spartans.
