Big Ten basketball: 2018 Conference Tournament preview
Last set of great Big Ten players
Moritz Wagner, F/Muhammad-Ali Abdur-Rahkman, G, Michigan
14.6 PPG, 7.3 RPG, 1 STPG/11.8 PPG, 3.3 APG, 3.8 RPG
Another two for one because the team in Ann Arbor has the same deal going. I’ve seen both guys take over games before. Earlier this season, when the Wolverines thought they picked up their signature win over the Spartans, Moe Wagner went off. The guy was a monster for 27 points and three three-pointers.
Muhammad-Al Abdur-Rahkman is the most underrated point guard in the Big Ten. This guy has been on an absolute tear as of late. His coming out party came against Ohio State the second time around which resulted in a victory. Abdur-Rahkman recorded 17 points, dropped two triples and shot five for six from the line.
Ethan Happ, F, Wisconsin
18 PPG, 8.2 RPG, 3.9 APG
You think I was going to go without mentioning a Wisconsin Badger? Obviously I’m going to mention Ethan Happ who does it all for Bucky. I also chose to include him in this category because Wisconsin is being kind of sneaky right now.
Happ has recorded double-figures in every game besides two which came way back in December. Since their win over Illinois the second time, Happ has been averaging over 21 points per game. This guy leads the team in rebounds, assists, steals, blocks and points.
