2. Devonte’ Graham

17.7 ppg, 4.1 rpg, 7.2 apg

Devonte’ Graham has been one of the biggest risers on this list over the course of the 2017-2018 season. Initially, Graham’s inconsistent scoring output held him to a Top 15 to Top 20 spot. As the season progressed, however, Graham’s play became more consistent and he has led Kansas to another Big 12 title.

While not quite as flashy as Trae Young, Graham’s performance has remained consistent since Kansas began playing tougher games. His 17.7 points per game is the lowest of any player in the Top 5, but his 7.2 assists and valuable leadership boost him into the runner-up spot.

Despite the challenge by Texas Tech and the excitement surrounding Oklahoma, Graham led the Jayhawks to their 14th straight Big 12 title. His play has mirrored that of the team as a whole: steady, consistent, and fundamental. He has been so important to Kansas’ success that his time on the bench has been rare, and he has played 40 minutes in 15 games this season including 12 of the last 13.
