Region Breakdown

As has been the norm over the past week, Virginia is the top overall seed in my bracket. They hold the most impressive resume in the country thanks to a high number of quality wins to go with only two losses during the course of the season. There should be no doubting the Cavaliers when it comes to their national championship aspirations.

Diving further into the region, Creighton dropped a spot from a No. 8 seed to a No. 9 today following their loss to Providence. The congregation of teams in the No. 7-10 seed range is incredible at this point and just about every game causes shifts in seeding.

The biggest winner from the past couple days has been Kansas State. It seems as though their resume gets better every single time I look at it. This time around, the Wildcats have risen up from a No. 10 seed to a No. 8 thanks to their win over TCU. This was more of a byproduct of other teams losing than beating TCU but the win certainly helped.
