Baylor

The first of two Big 12 teams on this list, the Baylor Bears ended the season in a better spot than they started it, but were still the first team to miss out on the NCAA Tournament. The Bears had big wins against Kansas and Texas Tech, without any bad losses, but their record was not very impressive.

Bears fans will be looking at Oklahoma and Texas, wondering how Baylor missed the tournament with a very similar record and a stronger finish to the season.

This Bears team is a senior-led squad, which makes the NCAA Tournament miss even more disappointing. The players will not get to dance in their last season, and will instead have to prove their worth in the NIT.

Bears fans have a right to be upset but have to realize that there were only so many bids that would come from the Big 12, and they just didn’t make the cut.
