March Madness: Seven biggest snubs from the 2018 NCAA Tournament

Oklahoma State
Much to the disappointment of Cowboys fans, Oklahoma State will have to accept being invited to the NIT while their rival Sooners get to play in the Big Dance. All this despite the fact that Oklahoma lost 11 of its last 15 games, including a first-round Big 12 Tournament loss to the Cowboys.
Despite an RPI that ranked 93rd in the country, Oklahoma State landed on a lot of people’s radars when it came to bubble teams. Their 8-10 record in the Big 12 and lack of multiple strong non-conference wins, however, sealed their fate.
Despite being a longshot, a lot of fans were unhappy with the inclusion of Oklahoma over Oklahoma State and they let their voices be heard.
Oklahoma State was not even in the First Four Out category, which confused even the fans that thought they would miss the tournament. This Cowboys team should be competitive moving forward, but the hope that Jeffrey Carroll and Kendall Smith would make the dance in their final season will not come to fruition.
