Why They Will: Mark Few

Mark Few has been pitched as an underrated coach for so long, that he has almost become overrated. With the best winning percentage of any active coach, Mark Few has never missed the NCAA Tournament as a head coach.

Despite entering his 20th NCAA Tournament, last year was the first time Few broke into the Final Four. After losing four key players from that team, this was expected to be a rebuilding year, but the Zags have emerged as a true Final Four contender, a testament to Few’s abilities to coach at a high level.

It is no secret that Mark Few has landed on the shortlist in multiple high profile coaching searches, but he has denied them all, showing his dedication to Gonzaga and his love of the Spokane community. Few is set on leaving a legacy that extends far beyond his time with the Zags and he will have the Zags ready to handle whatever is thrown at them over the next month.
