Why They Will: Killian Tillie

After being snubbed from the All-WCC First Team, Killian Tillie dominated the WCC Tournament and was voted Most Outstanding Player. Tillie, a sophomore from France, is one of Gonzaga’s most versatile and efficient players.

The big man can score from deep and at the rim with almost the same level of success, leading the Zags in field-goal percentage and three-point percentage. In the WCC Tournament alone, Tillie shot 78% from the floor and 93% from three.

He also puts in a solid effort on the boards and defensive end, being able to follow stretch forwards out to the perimeter if needed.

This combination of offensive and defensive versatility makes Tillie a tough draw for most of the country’s big men and could help Gonzaga win some close games. If he heats up, Tillie is nearly impossible to slow down.
