SO AJ Brodeur – Forward, Penn Quakers

JR Kyle Allman – Guard, Cal State Fullerton Titans
2017-18 stats: 19.4 ppg 3.4 rpg 2.4 apg
SR Theo Pinson – Guard, North Carolina Tar Heels
2017-18 stats: 10.3 ppg 6.4 rpg 4.8 apg
JR Ahmaad Rorie – Guard, Montana Grizzlies
2017-18 stats: 17.2 ppg 3.8 rpg 3.7 apg
Pinson was a late addition, based off of his performance in the ACC Tournament. If the top two scorers have an off day, it’s the champion guard who’ll have to step up and fill that void.
As for the others, they’re part of teams who have a shot at pulling off the upset. Even Penn, whose 16 seed is more due to how down the Ivy League was as a whole rather than how good the Quaker themselves are.
Guys like Rorie and Allman have shown the capability to put up great numbers and could have a big night in the first round.
As for the young Love, he’s going to be a nightmare in the Horizon, particularly on the boards. This will be a nice introduction on the national stage for the freshman, intent on this being the first of a few appearances.
