Control the pace of the game

As previously said both teams rely heavily on their defense. UT ranks 35th in the nation in scoring defense, allowing 66.1 points a game. In the meantime, Wright State is 27th as they allow 65.7 points a game.

Their offense production is similar as well though the Volunteers are scoring nearly two more points a game. The Vols are averaging 74.3 points a game while the Raiders are producing 72.1 points a contest.

Wright St. likes to keep games in the 60s. So, with UT owning the advantage in athleticism and overall skill it would behoove them to try to push the pace a little.

The Vols will play half-court man around 97% of the time though they will occasionally pick up full court. Sophomore point guard Jordan Bone is excellent at managing the game and is quick as well shifty in the open court.
