9. Nevada Wolf Pack 29-8 (15-3)

2017-18 postseason result: Sweet Sixteen

Key Losses: Kendall Stephens (13.1 ppg)

Key returnees: SR Caleb Martin (18.8 ppg) – SR Cody Martin (14.1 ppg 6.3 rpg 4.7 apg) – JR Jordan Caroline (17.7 ppg and 8.6 rpg)

Key incoming players: KJ Hymes (No. 301 ranked recruit) – SR Corey Henson (14.6 ppg at Wagner) – JR Jazz Johnson (15.8 ppg at Portland) – SR Tre’Shawn Thurman (13.8 ppg and 7.8 rpg at Nebraska-Omaha) – Nisre Zouzoua (20.3 ppg at Bryant)

The three-headed monster of Joradan Caroline and the Martin brothers terrorized the Mountain West, as well as Miami and Cincinnati in the NCAA Tournament. They proved that they’re positionless offense can work against tough defenses, but could use some more beef down low.

The head coach of the Wolf Pack Eric Musselman has worked the transfer market like no one else has, and has four different players coming off of a redshirt year. It’s going to do wonders for a team who in March was playing with basically six players.

Those guys combined averaged 64.5 ppg in the last season at their previous schools, and if Nevada can just get 25-30 points from them next year, it could be close to an unstoppable offense.

Now to be clear, neither Cody nor Caleb has said officially that they’ll be returning for next season, but if they do, cutting down the nets at the Mountain West will be the smallest of their objectives in March.
