Key losses: Donte Ingram (11.0 ppg 6.4 rpg) – Aundre Jackson (11.0 ppg) – Ben Richardson (6.9 ppg and 3.8 apg)

Key incoming players: SO Aher Uguak (1.2 ppg at New Mexico)

The Cinderella of 2018 NCAA Tournament, Loyola-Chicago used an incredible defense combined with balanced scoring to make the Final Four. And based on who’s returning – they have a good shot at making another run.

The top two scorers for the Ramblers will return, including the Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Year Clayton Custer. He along with Marques Townes will be relied on to score more this season, because of the losing talent.

One player who could be the best post player in the Missouri Valley is Cameron Krutwig, who played well in every game in the team’s Final Four run. The experience and confidence gained will only make him a better player in the long run.

But is Loyola-Chicago the prohibited favorite to win the league this season? Not exactly. They will have the biggest target on their backs, and there is another team who has the players to beat them.
