3. Oregon Ducks

Pros

The Ducks are currently viewed as neck-and-neck with UCLA as the favorite in the Pac-12 next season, but getting Cremo could propel them into Final Four conversation. That’s because the Ducks literally have everything they need, except for a spot-up and knock-down shooter from three-point range.

The Ducks will have All-Pac-12 point guard Payton Pritchard back, and get five-star recruits 7’2 center Bol Bol and Louis King on the wings. A few others can play the power forward spot, but there isn’t a true proven shooting guard right now. Cremo would fit perfectly in the offense, along with giving Pritchard a breather as a ball handler.

Cons

Cremo likely knows that by moving up in the power conference ranks, his touches on offense will decrease. But I’m sure that he expects to at least be part of it. That might not happen at Oregon, where he would be at best the fourth option, behind Bol, King, and Pritchard.

There’s also a good chance that top-40 guard prospect Brandon Williams also commits to the Ducks, effectively eliminating Cremo from coming. Compared to the other two teams coming up, there’s just too many questions about his role with the team that would make this the best option right now.
