C-. Sophomore, 1.7 points, 1.4 rebounds, .6 assists. Guard. North Carolina Tar Heels. BRANDON ROBINSON

Brandon Robinson: The 2016 North Carolina recruiting class was quite small. Tony Bradley headlined and he went pro after his freshman season. Seventh Woods hasn’t turned it on quite yet and Robinson makes the third guy.

Robinson is a shooting guard, four-star recruit ranked 60th in the country and ninth at his position. It was hard to come into a system that had nothing but a National Championship on it mind with a ton of experience.

He did appear in 36 games last year and average almost two points per game. Roy was going to give him every opportunity this season to be a regular in the rotation. With the way the team was setup this season, that wasn’t hard. The thing is though that Robinson didn’t produce the way anyone was hoping for.

Robinson did make appearances in 35 games this season. He was only given 8.6 minutes per game to show for it and he averaged less than two points per game. Robinson record double-digit minutes in five ACC games this season, but failed to score over five points. With only three guys with certain back court minutes this season, Robinson had chances to make an impact.
