Florida State

Starting Five: Al Thornton, Toney Douglas, Tim Pickett, Dwayne Bacon, Chris Singleton

Bench: Solomon Alabi, Michael Snaer, Bernard James, Jonathan Isaac

MVP: Thornton by a hair over Douglas. These two were far and away the best options.

If nothing else, this is a STOUT defensive group with a couple of go-to scorers. They could hang around with more stacked rosters.

Georgia Tech

Starting Five: Jarrett Jack, B.J. Elder, Chris Bosh, Iman Shumpert,  Ben Lammers

Bench: Jason Collier, Alvin Jones, Tony Akins, Javaris Crittenton, Gani Lawai, Marcus Georges-Hunt

MVP: Jack was outstanding in leading the Yellow Jackets to the 2004 NCAA Championship game.

This is another strong defensive group, but with more of a scoring punch than the Seminoles. The Jack-Elder-Bosh actually played together for one season.
