Gonzaga Basketball: Top 15 Players to Play for Head Coach Mark Few
15. Kelly Olynyk – Gonzaga Bulldogs (2010-2013)
Career stats: 8.9 ppg 4.6 rpg 1.1 apg
After two seasons not getting the results he wanted, Olynyk took a redshirt seasons to get his body and skills where it needed to succeed in college. It worked, elevated his averages to 17.8 ppg and 7.3 rpg and winning WCC Player of the Year. These days, it’s called the “Olynyk Clinic” whenever players take a redshirt season, with great results showing the following year. I picked him over JP Bautista because of the impact he’s had on the program with the success of his redshirt.
14. Derek Raivio – Gonzaga Bulldogs (2004-2007)
Career stats: 11.5 ppg 2.2 rpg 2.8 apg
A local product that somewhat flew under the radar out of high school, Raivio was the starting point guard in three of the four seasons. His offense exploded his senior season, averaging 18.0 ppg in route to winning the WCC Player of the Year.
13. Casey Calvary – Gonzaga Bulldogs (1998-2001)

Another player who Coach developed into a star as time went on, Calvary was a role player until his senior season. He won WCC Player of the Year in 2001, averaging 19.0 ppg, along with some quality performances in the Big Dance.
12. Jeremy Pargo – Gonzaga Bulldogs (2006-2009)
Career stats: 9.3 ppg 3.4 rpg 4.4 apg
Another WCC Player of the Year, Pargo was awarded it in 2008, after a 12.1 ppg and 6.0 apg. He was a consistent scorer as well as a great distributor of the basketball. He’s ranked third all-time in school history with 589 assists.
11. Elias Harris – Gonzaga Bulldogs (2010-2011)
Career stats: 13.8 ppg 7.3 rpg 1.3 apg
He never led the team in scoring in any of the four years, but Harris was right up there, contributing in many aspects of the game whether on offense or defense. The 6’7 forward was known for his consistency, which is why the Bulldogs won over 100 games while he was around.
