6. Slyven Landesberg – Virginia Cavaliers (2009-2010)

Career stats: 16.9 ppg 5.5 rpg 2.8 apg

Quite possibly the greatest pure scorer that ever played for Bennett, the 6’5 wing had the third-best season in program history for a freshman at 16.6 ppg (with another coach). Landesberg had an even better sophomore campaign in Bennett’s first year with UVA, but his career ended prematurely with UVA after academic issues. Had he stuck around, there’s a good chance he would’ve climbed the ladder on this list.

5. Derrick Low – Washington State Cougars (2005-2008)

Career stats: 11.5 ppg 1.8 rpg 1.3 apg

A quality scorer for the Cougars, Low was the leading scorer on both of the NCAA Tournament qualifying teams, including the 2008 Sweet 16 squad. His forte was his ability to shoot the long ball, leading the Pac-12 in made three-pointers with 92. Like the current Virginia teams, there aren’t too many prolific scorers on the roster. That’s what made Low’s efforts even more impressive.

4. London Perrantes – Virginia Cavaliers (2014-2017)

Career stats: 8.9 ppg 2.7 rpg 4.1 apg

A four-year starter as a point guard, Perrantes was one of the best facilitators in the ACC during his time. His scoring steadily improved, being the only double-digit scorer on the 2017 team with 12.7 apg. His leadership and intangibles were credited in taking the team to the Big Dance each season.
