12. Marvin Bagley III – Duke Blue Devils (2018)

Career stats: 21.0 ppg 11.1 apg 1.5 apg

There may not have been a more dominant freshman that Coach Krzyzewski has had than Bagley, who posted historic numbers for both the program and the ACC. He had several 30-10 games and scored at least 12 points and grabbed 6+ rebounds in every full game he played. From a talent perspective, Bagley should be higher. From an accomplishment standpoint, on the other hand, this is a good spot for him.

11. Carlos Boozer – Duke Blue Devils (2000-2002)

Career stats: 14.9 ppg 7.2 rpg 1.1 apg

An instant impact player his freshman year onward, Boozer was one of the best post scorers in all of college basketball. In his final year with the team, the 6’9 forward posted some ridiculous numbers, averaging 18.2 ppg and 8.7 rpg, while shooting 66% from the field.

10. Elton Brand – Duke Blue Devils (1998-1999)

Career stats: 16.2 ppg 8.9 rpg 0.9 apg

He was only around for a couple of years, but Brand still managed to accomplish a ton. The big man was on the Elite
Eight team in 1998, before averaging a team-high 17.7 ppg and 9.8 rpg on the 1999 team that lost in the finals of the national championship. Brand, who was awarded National Player of the Year that season, averaged a double-double throughout the NCAA Tournament that year.

9. Shane Battier – Duke Blue Devils (1998-2001)

Career stats: 13.6 ppg 6.1 rpg 1.6 apg

One of the best all-around players in college basketball memory, Battier not only provided the scoring, passing and rebounding, he also was good for a couple of steals and blocks as well. The 6’8 versatile forward wasn’t the leading scorer on the 2001 title team, but was awarded National Player of the Year nonetheless, because the voters rightfully recognized his ability to affect the game in a number of ways.
