C Isaiah Stewart, La Lumiere School

A five-star big man originally from New York, Isaiah Stewart plays his high school ball at La Lumiere school in Indiana. This is the same school that just recently featured players such as Brian Bowen and Jaren Jackson Jr., both of whom were highly-touted recruits. With a No. 8 ranking in the class, Stewart certainly followed in their footsteps well as an elite college basketball prospect.

Standing at 6-foot-8, Stewart does not have tremendous height to play the center position but he makes for this with his length and athleticism. He is arguably the best rebounder in the entire class of 2019 and that speaks to not only his leaping ability. Stewart does an excellent job boxing out his opposition and has a high rebounding IQ in terms of being in the right place to snag missed shots. He is a growing player on both ends of the floor but there is a solid baseline for him to work with. He understands how to function within a team dynamic and he clearly has plenty of talent given his recruiting ranking.

Out of 10 crystal ball predictions on 247Sports, Duke currently holds nine of them with Texas hanging on to one. The props on this recruiting battle go to Coach Scheyer once again, who is easily one of the best recruiters in the nation. Of course, it does help that Duke has such a tremendous reputation for academics as well as athletics.
