Memphis has 10 returning players on their spring roster.

The Tigers will have a good mix of youth and veterans in 2018-19. As the Tigers return their top four scorers and top two rebounders from a season ago. Three of the players are returning starters.

Jeremiah Martin: The 6-foot-3 senior guard is the Tigers’ top returnee, leading the squad in scoring (18.9), 3-pointers (51), assists (103) and steals (61) a year ago. Martin, who recorded one double-double, tallied 20 or more points in 12 of his 27 contests. He topped the 30-point plateau twice.

Kyvon Davenport: The 6-foot-8 senior led the team with 6.1 rebounds l and was second in scoring at 13.3 points a game in 2017-18.  He shot 51.0% from the floor and 35.5% from beyond the arc while making a total of 35 triples. Davenport, who recorded 61 blocks, produced eight double-doubles.

Kareem Brewton: The 6-foot-2 senior guard was the team’s third-leading scorer at 9.3 points a contest and second-leading assist man with 2.4 a game. He scored in double-figures in 15 of his 34 appearances.

Mike Parks (jr.): The 6-foot-8 forward produced 8.1 points and 4.5 caroms last season, which was good for fourth and second on the team. He led the team with a 55.5% shooting percentage. Parks, who scored in double-figures in 13 of his last 21 games, recorded two double-doubles for the campaign.

Raynere Thornton: The 6-foot-6 wing provided the Tigers with some scoring and shooting off the bench. He scored in double-figures six times and posted one double-double.

Victor Enoh: The 6-foot-7 appeared in all 34 games as a reserve. He tallied 1.6 points and 1.6 rebounds in just 8.9 minutes a game.

Karim Sameh Azab: The 6-foot-10 redshirt sophomore has been diagnosed with cancer and may sit out this season. The Tigers may seek a medical waiver for the upcoming season.

Evin Olds: The 5-foot-11 walk-on sophomore points saw two minutes of action in his lone appearance last year.

Nathan Stewart: The 6-foot-2 walk-on guard did not make an appearance this past season.

Jesse Johnson: The 6-foot-7 grad student also saw just two minutes of action in 2017-18.  Prior to transferring to Memphis, he played one season at Alabama A&M.
