Why Should You Know Wright-Foreman?

Wright-Foreman is one of the best scorers in the country and can carry a team on his back. Wright-Foreman who is from Queens is playing at his hometown school. Not only is he carrying the scoring load, he is putting on for his city, and doing a very good job at that task.

Wright-Foreman is already in possession of one CAA Player of the Year Award, which he won last season. Defending the title this year will come with a larger challenge from the rest of the league. As mentioned earlier the CAA has many talented teams, but they also possess many talented players who are going to be coming after the title of the best player in the CAA. This should only make Wright-Foreman rise to the challenge and take his game to the next level.

Wright-Foreman decided he wanted to test the NBA waters this year, without an agent. He declared without an agent initially, so he would be able to retain his college eligibility. The NBA scouts and teams were able to give Wright-Foreman the knowledge he needed to improve his game to be NBA ready. Armed with that knowledge plus the tools he already has should make Wright-Foreman an already tougher guard that he already was.

Entering next season Wright-Foreman will be on pace to be one of the top scorers in program history and was near the top of a lot of the NCAA scoring lists last season. In his three-year career at Hofstra to date, his scoring totals have increased significantly every year. Last year was the break out year of his career while he posted 24 points per game, to go along with three rebounds and three assists. The efficiency of his game is the take-away point with Wright-Foreman. He’s deadly from beyond the arc as he is in the top ten in Hofstra history with 167 made three pointers. The senior is extremely efficient once he gets inside the paint shooting at a 47% clip. He is a career 36% shooter from the beyond the arc. The 24 points per game last year were good for 5th in the country in scoring.
