30. Nisre Zouzoua G Jr, Nevada

16-17 Stats: 20.3ppg 4.2rpg 37%3pt 92 3pt makes at Bryant

Zouzoua was a big scorer for a bad Bryant team and will have to adjust to a smaller role on a loaded Nevada roster. He is one of many transfers on this Nevada squad. Similar to Jazz Johnson, Zouzoua has to compete with many talented guards for minutes which will limit his overall production. There is a chance he falls out of the rotation entirely, but his shooting and scoring abilities should find him a 10-15mpg role off the bench.

29. Malik Ellison Wing Jr, Pittsburgh

16-17 Stats: 7.4ppg 34%3pt 60%ft at St. John’s

Ellison flashed his scoring ability during his time at St. John’s, but he was not a great fit next to Shamorie Ponds and Marcus Lovett because he is not a strong defender. He has good size for a wing and is a capable shooter, although his free throw percentage is noticeably low. Ellison will probably start and score in double figures for Pitt, but how big of an impact can he make as a second or third leading scorer on a bad team?

28. Peter Kiss Wing So, Rutgers

16-17 Stats: 13.3ppg 5.6rpg 28%3pt at Quinnipiac

Kiss had a promising freshman season at Quinnipiac where he showed that he could create offense. Expect his shooting to improve with another year of experience under his belt, but he probably remains a go-to scorer for a bottom feeder Rutgers team. Similar to Ellison, how much of an impact can Kiss make on college basketball as a big scorer on a bad team?

27. Samir Doughty G Jr, Auburn

16-17 Stats: 9.0ppg 3.6rpg 28%3pt at VCU

Doughty is a capable scorer who will provide even more offense to an already potent Auburn lineup. He is probably a year away from playing big minutes as Jared Harper and Bryce Brown figure to be the backcourt starters. However, he will compete for the starting wing position with Malik Dunbar while Danjel Purifoy is suspended for the first 9 games. Doughty is probably a solid reserve on a top ten Auburn squad.

26. Mikey Dixon G So, St John’s

16-17 Stats: 16.5ppg 37%3pt at Quinnipiac

Dixon was a teammate of Kiss at Quinnipiac and had an equally impressive freshman season. He is an explosive lead guard who can score the ball at all three levels. St. John’s will likely use him off the bench, but that does not mean he won’t make an impact. Dixon can play with Shamorie Ponds in a small quicker lineup or can function as his backup. St. John’s is a borderline Top 25 team if Mustapha Heron is eligible as well which only enhances his impact. The Red Storm have become synonymous with transfers  in recent years.

25. Elijah Hughes Wing So, Syracuse

16-17 Stats: 7.8ppg 35%fg 27%3pt at East Carolina

Hughes flew under the radar at East Caroline, but he should be a good fit at Syracuse as the sixth man. He can play 2-4 which gives Syracuse more lineup flexibility and some much needed depth. Hughes’ length allows him to play different spots in the Syracuse zone which will make the defense even more effective. The Orange seem like a lock for the Top 25, so Hughes will be a key player on a good team.
