7. Duke wins 25 regular season games

25 regular season wins is a milestone that not many teams reach. Considering the average college basketball team plays ~30 games in each year, this means that a team would need to sport a .833 winning percentage in order to make this happen. However, Duke fans have had the luxury of watching their team accomplish this feat a whopping eight times in the last 11 years. With this group of incoming freshman, that goal should be attainable once again.

Considering the depth and strength of the ACC this season, this goal will not be easy to reach. Teams like Virginia, North Carolina, and Virginia Tech are all going to be extremely talented and the bottom-half of the conference is not nearly as weak as it has been in the past. In addition, Duke is the most inexperienced team in the conference, which means that they could be prone to a few bad losses.

Even with this, though, Duke has a good shot to win 25 games. They will be one of the top-4 teams in the ACC (barring major injuries) and that should get them in the area. However, it is hard to tell just how many wins the team will have because the non-conference schedule has not been released yet. Regardless, this is a goal that is attainable for the Blue Devils and can be managed despite a strong ACC.
