1. Dec. 15 @ Kansas

The Villanova Wildcats will have their hands full on Dec. 15 when they travel to Phog Allen Fieldhouse to face a stacked Kansas Jayhawks squad. In another rematch of a Final Four matchup, the Wildcats won’t have the same offensive firepower that allowed them to pull off a 95-79 victory back on March 31.

7-foot center Udoka Azubuike headlines a roster that still boasts its fair share of NBA prospects. Senior Lagerald Vick will be returning and the potential contributions of incoming freshmen guard Quentin Grimes and big man David McCormack should pay dividends. K.J. and Dedric Lawson, transfers from the Memphis Tigers, will also be eligible.

Next: Breakdown of Villanova's 2018 recruiting class

Dedric put up 19.2 points, 9.9 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 2.1 blocks and 1.2 steals per game in 2016-17 with Memphis. His brother, K.J., put up 12.3 points, 8.1 rebounds and 2.8 assists per contest during the same span. Both bring their own dynamic to the table making the Jayhawks a title contender once again in 2018-19. The Wildcats have won three games in a row and four of the last five meetings dating back to the 2004-05 season.
