1. Kellan Grady, Davidson

Davidson Wildcats guard Kellan Grady will be another top performer in Atlantic 10 play after turning in a solid freshman season. He took home the conference’ Rookie of the Year award along with second-team All-Atlantic honors after his with the Wildcats, who made their first NCAA Tournament appearance since the 2014-15 season.

Grady led all freshman with 18.0 points per game in 2017-18. He ranked seventh in the conference in scoring while shooting 50.1 percent from the field and 37.2 percent from 3-point range.

His season-high 39 points came on 10-of-26 (38.5 percent) shooting in a 117-113 overtime loss to St. Bonaventure back on Feb. 27. He struggled shooting from the floor but went 16-of-16 from the free throw line.

Despite the rough game, his performance down the stretch made an impact. He put up 19.6 points in the conference tournament to lead his team to an automatic berth in the NCAA Tournament. They’ll look to make it back-to-back in 2018-19 with Grady leading the way.
