While his season may have been cut short due to injury, Pacific’s Lafayette Dorsey demonstrated just how well he could perform under head coach Damon Stoudamire’s offensive system. While only playing around 16 minutes per game for the Tigers, Dorsey made every second count and put up the highest per-40-minute scoring total on the team.

Heading into the 2018-19 season, Dorsey has a good shot to challenge Kendall Small for the starting point guard role but will need to demonstrate a willingness and ability to distribute the ball. Even if he does not earn a spot in the starting rotation, Pacific will still rely on Dorsey to contribute meaningful minutes in what could be a defining year for the program.

While Gonzaga wing Corey Kispert’s numbers do not accurately represent his skill, his inconsistency kept him just outside the top three on this list. If he can sure up his three-point shooting, and use his strength more on the boards, Kispert will be a scary force off the bench for the Zags.

Kispert started the 2017-18 season as a starter before a minor injury allowed Zach Norvell to take the starting wing position for the remainder of the season. Kispert showcased his skill the most in a January game against Portland, during which he put up 23 points and 10 rebounds in just 23 minutes played. This alone should give Zag fans reason to believe that he could break out as an incredibly valuable point of depth.
