Adrien Nunez – Oakdale, CT

Guard | 6-foot-6 | 205 lbs | No. 305 overall

Even though Adrien Nunez is not very highly-rated, he has the potential to be special. With excellent size to play the shooting guard position at the college level and a smooth looking release, he could end up being a solid perimeter threat for Michigan. Considering the importance of shooting in today’s game, the addition of players who specialize in splashing from deep is vital to success and Nunez shows flashes of being that. Consistency, though, will be a key due to the fact that he played limited minutes for most of the last few years.

Despite coming off of the bench for most of his high school career, Nunez attracted the attention of some Big Ten schools. However, he elected to play a postgraduate year at St. Thomas More Prep School this past year prior to attending college. It was on this scene that he really showed out, posting 15.5 points and 5 assists per game and garnering the attention of the Wolverines.

While it seems unlikely that Nunez will find an immediate role, there are few coaching staffs in the country better at player development than Michigan. With his size and potential, Nunez could become a steal on the recruiting circuit in due time.
