Reason Five: Kira Lewis

Kira Lewis is a baller. He is the perfect guard to come in after Collin Sexton. His ability to get down the court is a great asset. He has the handles to not only get by defenders but also to create separation for an easy jumper.

Jared Butler as a starting point guard could have been enough to get Alabama to the tournament. That being said, Lewis is a clear upgrade. His aggressiveness and skill make the team better. There’s no doubt that he can carry Alabama to where they need to get. Despite having very little preparation in the Tide program, Coach Johnson will do everything he can to prep him for the start of the season.

If fans are expecting the second coming of Sexton, they might be slightly disappointed. But don’t look at Lewis as a poor man’s Sexton. Look at him as a rich man’s Kira Lewis. He’s going places, and he will take the Tide with him.
