2. Ethan Happ, Wisconsin

Wisconsin Badgers forward Ethan Happ is back for his senior season. That’s good news for Wisconsin after they missed the NCAA Tournament this past year. The team went 15-18 in 2017-18 despite the steady improvement of Happ.

Happ produced 17.9 points, 8.0 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 1.5 steals and 1.1 blocks per contest in 33 games of work for the Badgers in 2017-18. He put a career-high 11 double-doubles as the fearless leader for his squad during his junior campaign. Although he didn’t put up any big 30-point performances, Happ was still a force to reckon with inside. He shot 52.8 percent from the floor, showing he’s still efficient through three seasons of work.

Happ will have 6-foot-3 guard Brad Davison to lean on this upcoming season. Davison was the team’s second-leading scorer last season with 12.1 points per game. Along with Happ, the duo could provide a solid one-two punch in Big Ten play. They’ll be hungry for a Big Ten title after under .500 in conference play (7-11) for the first time since the 1997-98 season.
