Help Indiana in the Big Ten

Last year the Hoosiers finished 9-9 in the big ten.  They were pretty much in the middle of the pack in terms of the standings behind teams like Nebraska, Michigan and Purdue.

This year with a talent like Langford coming in they can compete with teams like Michigan, Michigan State and Purdue. What has helped those three teams is their recruiting and the talent that they have been able to attract.

Last year Purdue had players like Carson Edwards, Isaac Haas, and Vincent Edwards. Michigan had players like Muhammad Ali Abdur-Rahkman, Moritz Wagner, and Charles Matthews. Michigan State had players like Miles Bridges, Jaren Jackson Jr. and Cassius Winston to name a few. The Spartans were loaded last year.

Those three teams are ranked behind Indiana in terms of the recruiting class of 2018. Michigan is 12th, Michigan State is 17th and Purdue is ranked 48th.

Indiana lucked out to have ingrown talent come to their school. The successful recruitment of Langford boosted their recruiting rank. Now the Hoosiers look to have a great season and move into the top three ranks of the Big Ten record-wise.

Langford, along with Juwan Morgan returning for his senior season, could greatly impact the Big Ten and change the stranglehold that those three teams have had on the conference for a long time.
