4. Barry Brown Jr., Kansas State

Barry Brown Jr. is one player on the Kansas State Wildcats roster to watch in 2018-19. Brown averaged 15.9 points, 3.2 assists, 3.1 rebounds and 1.8 steals per game in 37 appearances for the Wildcats in 2017-18. He shot just 31.8 percent from 3-point range, but he showed why he’s a coveted volume scorer in the Kansas State rotation.

The 6-foot-3 point guard put up a career-high 38 points back on Jan. 10 against Oklahoma State in an 86-82 victory. He took just four 3-pointers while shooting 12-of-17 (70.6 percent) from the field.

The Wildcats return a majority of their starting rotation from a season ago. After making a run to the Elite Eight, the 2018-19 season could be another big one for the program led by Brown. He ranked second on the team in points and rebounds per game in 2017-18. With his final season coming up, he’s sure to go out with a bang.
