Romeo Langford, Indiana

Guard | 6-foot-5 | 191 lbs | No. 7 overall

Aside from maybe Duke’s Zion Williamson, there might not be a more praised player in the entire 2018 recruiting class than Romeo Langford. An absolute stud, Langford is a top-10 recruit who elected to stay in his home state to don the crimson and cream in what is likely to be his only collegiate season. For Indiana head coach Archie Miller, that was a massive recruiting win and one that could potentially boost future possibilities on the recruiting trail with a strong season from Langford.

In regards to this upcoming season, Langford will be expected to be one of the go-to offensive options for the Hoosiers along with senior Juwan Morgan. From an individual perspective, Langford’s all-around game will wreak havoc on the Big Ten. He can score at all three levels, create for others, as well as be a force to be reckoned with in the fastbreak. To put it simply, there is a reason why Langford is the top-rated recruit heading to play in the Big Ten this season.

However, what makes Langford’s addition to the Hoosiers so important is that he might just be the missing piece needed to reach the NCAA Tournament. IU already has a few strong returning pieces to go with this elite incoming recruiting class that contains Hunter, Langford, and a few more highly-rated recruits. With Langford on board, the Hoosiers have a well-rounded shooting guard who can be a steady offensive force that defenses will struggle to slow down.
