9. Oklahoma State Cowboys

Commits – 2: Ka. Boone (107), Ke. Boone (246)

Current Rank: No. 16 overall class

Head coach Mike Boynton came away with a major recruiting win for the 2019 class with the commitment of the Boone twins. Both top-250 recruits in the class, the Boone twins are multipositional players with major potential for the future. In addition, they give the Cowboys a huge boost on the recruiting circuit considering their overall talent level.

The state of Oklahoma might not traditionally be a powerhouse state for finding elite recruits but the Boone twins still represent two of the top three recruits in the state and that should not simply be overlooked. They are both highly-athletic forwards who bring relentless energy to the floor. If the state emerges as a hotbed in the future, adding these two local products could help the program down the road.

Starting with Kalib Boone, the 6-foot-8 big man has attracted plenty of attention from national scouts. With his all-around play, Kalib currently ranks 107th in the class and as the best player coming out of Oklahoma. A strong scorer and rebounder, Kalib is a building block for the future of the Oklahoma State frontcourt. He runs the floor very well and also can rise up to swat shots defensively.

Although not as highly-rated as his brother, Keylan Boone will also bring a solid body to Stillwater at 6-foot-6. Ranked at No. 246 in the country, Keylan has not received a ton of love from recruiting services but still projects as a stud if his game rounds out well. An excellent athlete with long arms, Boone could play a combo forward role at the college level.
