5. Myles Powell, Seton Hall

Statistics: 15.5 ppg, 2.6 rpg, and 2.8 apg

3P shooting: 94-for-248, 37.9%

Clearly the best player on the Seton Hall roster heading into this year, Myles Powell represents one of the most dangerous all-around players on this list. A pure scorer, Powell can get it done from just about anywhere on the floor. Over the past couple of seasons, though, he has been able to thrive both with and without the ball thanks to the presence of other stars on the roster. Now that Rodriguez, Delgado, Sanogo, and Carrington are gone, though, the majority of the scoring burden will fall on the shoulders of Powell.

While this will certainly prove to be a challenge for the rising junior, it is one that he can accomplish. One of the best overall scorers in the conference, Powell is extremely dangerous from beyond the arc both in catch-and-shoot situations as well as pulling up off of the dribble. During this past season, for instance, the 6-foot-2 guard shot 37.9% from beyond the arc while attempting 7.3 per game in total.

The ability to maintain this high, albeit not elite, efficiency from beyond the arc despite such volume is particularly impressive. While Powell will surely be thrown more defensive attention this season, he could live up to expectations with his ability to score from all spots on the court.
