2. Jordan Brown – Power Forward – Nevada

Big man Jordan Brown was the only McDonald’s All-American to commit to a non-power 5 conference school and for good reason. It was way back in 2015, when Musselman was first hired for the Nevada Wolf Pack head coaching job, that he first discovered and listed Brown as a “Future Recruit”. Fast forward to 2018 and Musselman landed his big name player in Jordan Brown.

Brown ranks as one of the highest recruits ever in Nevada history, checking in as the 19th overall prospect in the 2018 recruiting class. He put up 21.8 points, 11.8 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.8 blocks per game at Prolific Prep this past season. In the McDonald’s All-American Game, he scored 26 points and snagged eight rebounds.

Frontcourt issues seemed to hold the Wolf Pack back in the 2018 NCAA Tournament as they fell to the Loyola (IL) in the Sweet 16. Four of their starting five will be back for 2018-19, so adding Brown to the mix shouldn’t be too hard of an adjustment. Look for them to make another deep run this March, with Brown carrying some of the load on the interior.
