Reserves and newcomers

The bench will consist of three returning players and a newcomer. Guards Micah Robinson and Ty Rowell are the only other Lancers that saw action last season that return. Robinson is a 6-4 redshirt-junior who saw action in 12 games during his first season at Cal Baptist after spending one year at Chaffey College in California. Rowell is a 6-2 sophomore guard who saw action in all 34 games, with one start. He averaged 6.9 points, scoring a season-high 20 points in the Elite Eight loss to Queens College.

The other returner for coach Croy is 6-2 redshirt-freshman Jordan Gonzalez from Pasadena, California. The Guard has been a Lancer for as long as he can remember, having played for the Bishop Amat Memorial Lancers and leading them to 2016 CIF Southern Section Division 4 Championship.

The newcomer is an international recruit. Glenn Morison is a 6-10 230lb. native of Australia who averaged 18 points and 13 rebounds last season. Morison will see a familiar face at Cal Baptist, he played with Kuol as a member of the Canberra Gunners. With the bench a little thin, the Lancers will undoubtedly have a few walk-ons to fill out the roster, but they do have three other transfers, Omar Lo, Milan Acquaah, and Ferron Flavors, Jr. who must sit out this season.
