Big East Basketball: 2019 recruiting needs for each program
Seton Hall Pirates
Biggest Need: To be determined.
Seton Hall is an interesting position regarding the 2019 recruiting class. Due to the fact that the program is only graduating one senior (Michael Nzei) after this season, development of the players already on the roster will be more important than simply landing more recruits for the future. Still, this does not mean that head coach Kevin Willard and Co. are not going to be active on the recruiting trail.
To this point, Seton Hall does not have a 2019 commit but there is still plenty of time remaining. In regards to their team needs, it might be necessary to see just how the team operates this year before drawing any conclusions. Two of the presumed starters for this upcoming campaign, Quincy McKnight and Taurean Thompson, are both transfers and therefore will be donning Pirate uniforms for the first times this year.
It is for this reason that uncovering the strengths of weaknesses of the 2018-19 roster might be vital to landing the perfect recruiting class. And, having said that, it is difficult to determine the exact direction that Coach Willard will go with this class. Regardless, you can expect that the Pirates will land an impactful class despite limited roster spots.
