Minutes Distribution

Maryland Basketball will have a youthful roster this season. Their many freshmen on the roster will have opportunities to play this and that could help them individually and the team. Maryland basketball fans should be excited for what is to come given the talent that is on the roster this season. Here’s my projection of the minutes each player by position will receive.

Guard: Cowan Jr. (29), Ayala (7), Mona (4)

Guard: Morsell (29), Smith (7), Valmon (4)

Wing: Wiggins (20), Lindo Jr. (15), Ramsey (5)

Wing: Smith (25), Tomaic (15)

Big: Fernando (28), Bender (12)

Total Minutes(eight-man rotation): Cowan Jr (35), Morsell (32), Wiggins (29), Smith (28), Fernando (30), Ayala (20), Tomaic (18), Bender (18)

Total Minutes(nine-man rotation): Cowan Jr (35), Morsell (32), Wiggins (29), Smith (28), Fernando (30), Ayala (20), Lindo Jr. (20), Tomaic (18), Bender (18)

Maryland Basketball should have an exciting season. We know what to expect from the likes of Cowan Jr., Fernando, and Morsell but this season will be a chance for the team’s young talent to shine.
