Key Reserves

The Oklahoma State Cowboys lost many key guys from this past season. So many that they’re gonna have to rely on their incoming recruits to have an immediate impact.

Isaac Likekele

Isaac Likekele is a very talented guard. He was ranked as the 157th best player in the 2018 class by 247 Sports.

At 6 foot 4 inches, he has good size for a guard which will be something he can use to his advantage. He is gonna struggle at times but while Weathers is out he is going to have a big role.

It will pay off in the long run even if he doesn’t look ready at times. That shouldn’t be the case though, he’s a talented guy who’s ready for the challenge. He has a chance to be a special player if he is at Oklahoma State for four seasons.

Maurice Calloo

Maurice Callo is a talented, versatile forward who is gonna have a chance to play big minutes this season. He was the 339th ranked player in the 2018 class by 247 Sports.

He is gonna be asked to play inside maybe a little bit more than he would want to but it’ll help him expand his game. At 6’8″ he has the size to do a fine job inside. He just needs to continue to battle and make plays off the bench for this Oklahoma State team.

Kentrevious Jones

Kentrevious Jones is a big center who has the chance to play a key role this season. He has been working on getting his weight down and getting into shape but with the Cowboys having such little depth they will need him to play at least a small role on this team.

Jones does have the chance to work his way into big minutes though. He is the only true center on this team so we’ll have to see how much they try to go with him at that spot.

The Cowboys will play mostly small ball, but there’s gonna be games where they need Jones to step up. We’ll just have to see if he has what it takes to be a key player on the team this season.
